The Author

Dave Woods is a writer from Swindon, Wiltshire. Having grown up on the south coast of England, he has always had an interest in people, places, and everyday life stories.

Over the years, Dave has built a career in retail administration, alongside extensive experience in local journalism and broadcasting, where he has established himself as a well-known and respected voice in Swindon.

Writing has always been something Dave wanted to explore, often saying that he thought he had a book in him somewhere. The Road to Dunbar is his debut work of fiction, written as a creative project and a chance to finally put that idea into words.
